Pacific Datacom (PDC) is a growing specialist distributor of copper, fibre and wireless premise network cabling products, UPS and materials. We supply to and service major certified Data & Communications installation projects and installers in the construction industry and have done so successfully for over 20 years. PDC is a focused niche Datacom supplier but has all the benefits and stability that come with working for a multinational organisation.

About the role

This is a diverse role combining inventory control, purchasing, sales administration and customer service

What you would do in this role

  • Stock audits and inventory
  • General administration and housekeeping (including OH&S)
  • Ordering branch supplies and co-ordinating cyclic stock counts / stock cleansing
  • Processing and following up overdue purchase and customer orders
  • Monitoring and maintaining drop shipment orders and quarantine stock

  • A high level of initiative to support your team members and customers – no job is too big or too small
  • A strong sense of urgency – the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a trades environment will get you off to a flying start, but it is not essential if you’re passionate about learning our industry and product range
